Proving Ground Challenge

The Rules

28 days. 5 training days per week. Week 4 is test week. Read this once, then go train.

The Format

Your score is performance plus consistency: showing up every day matters as much as going hard.

Divisions

Pick your division at signup. Be honest, sandbagging a lower division to win easy is the fastest way to get booed off the leaderboard.

You can move up a division mid-challenge. You cannot move down.

Scoring

Total possible: 370 points.

Tiebreakers: most consistency points wins. Still tied: best Final Exam time wins.

Score Submission

Log every score on the leaderboard within 24 hours of finishing the workout. Late scores earn consistency points but zero performance points.

Missed days can be made up within 48 hours and still logged for full credit. After 48 hours the consistency point for that day is gone for good.

The Anti-Cheating Rule

Any score that puts you in prize position must be backed by an unedited video submitted within 24 hours of the workout. No video, no prize, no exceptions.

Random audits run all month. If you are asked for video of any scored workout and cannot produce it within 48 hours, your performance scores for that week are wiped. Consistency points stay, because you still did the work, but the leaderboard points go.

Video standards: phone on a tripod or leaned against something stable, whole body and the relevant equipment in frame for the full workout, no cuts. For the mile, GPS data plus a continuous video of the start and finish is enough. It does not need to be pretty. It needs to be real.

Prize Pool

30% of all entry fees go directly into the prize pool. 100 athletes at $99 means a $2,970 pool. 200 athletes means $5,940. The pool grows with the field and the exact number is published to all athletes before day one.

Payout: 1st place takes 50% of the pool, 2nd takes 30%, 3rd takes 20%. Paid within 7 days of final results.

Prizes go to the top 3 overall on the final leaderboard across all divisions. Division winners who do not place overall get featured on the channels and first access to the next cohort.

If fewer than 30 athletes enter a cohort, the challenge still runs but the prize pool converts to a winner-take-most: 1st takes 70%, 2nd takes 30%. This is announced before day one so nobody is surprised.

Refunds

Full refund any time before the cohort starts, no questions asked. Once day one begins, entries are locked because your $99 is already feeding the prize pool.

If you get injured in week 1, email us. We will roll your entry to the next cohort once. After week 1, entries are final.

Conduct

Do not harass other athletes on the leaderboard or in the group chat. Do not share the programming outside the cohort while it is running. First offense is a warning, second is removal with no refund. This is a community of people trying to get better, act like it.
